Spooky Paws Pet Parade
As the spooky season approaches and the cooler temperatures set in, there’s no better time to celebrate pets—especially pets in Halloween costumes! Join us this Saturday, October 10th, for the 3rd Annual Spooky Paws Pet Parade at the Tennessee Riverpark.
This fun and free family-friendly event invites you to bring your furry friends decked out in their best Halloween-themed attire for adorable costume contests and a parade.
Event Highlights:
- Costume Contest & Parade: Show off your pets in their creative outfits.
- Live Music: Enjoy performances by Amber Fults and Shani Palmer.
- Local Vendors: Discover food, drink, and pet-focused vendors alongside unique local makers.
- Family Activities: Enjoy a day full of fun for all ages, including Halloween decorations and family-friendly activities.
- Animal Rescue Connection: Meet local rescue organizations and learn about their invaluable work.
Founded by Rob Davis of Shop the Market At, this event aims to connect pet lovers and support smaller businesses in the Scenic City.
“We wanted to create a fun fall event where people could enjoy the day with their pets,” Davis shares. This year features two parades—at noon and 3 p.m.—giving everyone more chances to participate.
Spooky Paws also aims to educate visitors about local animal organizations and encourages support through adoption or volunteering. Davis emphasizes the importance of conversations that keep animal welfare in the community’s mind long after the event.
This event promises to be a blend of community fun and devotion to animals, ensuring an enjoyable day filled with costumes and joy.
Don’t miss out! I’ll be there with my nine-year-old black lab rescue, Bluebell, dressed as a hot dog, ready for treats and all the belly rubs she can get.
Join us for the Spooky Paws Pet Parade—you and your pets won’t want to miss it!
