PC Techware Celebrates 25 Years of Service
AUGUSTA — On September 25, PC Techware celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Augusta Country Club, welcoming clients, partners, and community leaders. The event highlighted the company’s evolution from a small home computer repair service to a leading commercial cybersecurity and IT firm in the region.
Founder Russell Wyatt established PC Techware in 2001, initially focusing on home computer repairs in Augusta. With organic growth fueled by word of mouth, the company has expanded its services to cater to businesses across the CSRA.
Matthew Jay, the CFO and partner of PC Techware, reflected on the foundation laid by Wyatt: “The clients were already here. The trust was already here… Everything I have done has been on top of that.”
Reaching 25 years is a significant achievement for small businesses. PC Techware has also actively engaged with the community, collaborating with local chambers of commerce, schools, the American Red Cross, and supporting businesses in recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene.
Recent accolades for the company include the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Small Business of the Year and Wyatt’s recognition as the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year.
The anniversary celebration featured food, drinks, and unique giveaways, all themed around the company’s longstanding commitment to technological infrastructure, demonstrated through creative table displays made with Ethernet cables.
