Essential Supplies for Your Pet Emergency Kit
To ensure safety during severe weather, prepare a well-equipped pet emergency kit including:
- Food and water
- Veterinary records
- Medications
- Leashes, harnesses, crates, or carriers for transport
- Microchip information
Being prepared can make a significant difference if evacuation becomes necessary. A microchipped pet with updated owner information greatly increases the chances of reunification if separated during an emergency.
