New Science Program for Homeschool Students at Audrey Pack Memorial Library
SPRING CITY — The Audrey Pack Memorial Library has introduced an exciting new science program named “Beaker Brigade” for homeschool students.
Lead teacher and librarian, Kathryn Blackwell, shared, “The Beaker Brigade is an enthusiastic group of kindergarten through eighth-grade homeschool students eager to explore scientific concepts. Each month, we cover different topics, encouraging families to make use of the rich resources available at our library. Upcoming topics include phases of matter, light and bioluminescence, and geology. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in all our participants.”
Currently, the program is at full capacity with a waiting list for the fall semester. Those interested in the winter semester, starting in January, are encouraged to contact the library.
In addition to the Beaker Brigade, the Audrey Pack Memorial Library offers a diverse range of books and learning materials that parents can use across various subjects. Librarians are available to assist in finding resources tailored to specific interests.
