Oak View Group (OVG) has taken charge of operations and event booking at Riverview Health Arena in Noblesville, Indiana, following a successful inaugural year. The 3,400-seat arena, home to the Noblesville Boom (an NBA G League team), aims to expand its programming after attracting over 60,000 visitors for more than 70 events in its first year. Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen expressed optimism about the partnership, citing strong initial results.
The city plans to broaden the event calendar and enhance the arena’s role in live entertainment and community gatherings. OVG appointed Marcellus Barksdale as the new general manager, who brings experience from Learfield and co-founding SoulFeast Week.
Greg O’Dell, OVG’s president of venue management, emphasized the partnership’s potential to boost local economic development by drawing more visitors to the Innovations Mile, a 600-acre district designed to foster growth. The arena will host various events beyond basketball, including concerts, family shows, and corporate gatherings.
