Deputy Injured Responding to Fire at Silverton Business
SILVERTON, Ohio — Montgomery Road has reopened following a fire that resulted in minor injuries to a deputy in Silverton.
The incident occurred early Monday morning at Razor 1 Kutz Barber Shop, located on Montgomery Road near Plainfield Road. The deputy, who was on duty, noticed the fire while driving around the area.
The blaze caused significant damage, including blown-out windows, although the full extent of the destruction is still being assessed. Emergency units from Blue Ash, Madeira, Indian Hill, and Deerfield/Silverton were dispatched to the scene.
While the fire initially blocked Montgomery Road, it has since been cleared for traffic. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
