Pflugerville is actively seeking small businesses interested in opening or expanding in downtown. An interest form is available on the city’s website to build a list of potential contacts for future opportunities in downtown commercial spaces, with no submission deadline, although early participation is encouraged. Upcoming city-owned spaces range from 2,000-5,700 square feet and can accommodate various sectors, including retail, restaurants, food and beverage, entertainment, and creative services.
This initiative coincides with the relocation of several city departments to the new City Hall, set to open on January 4. A recent survey revealed that residents see downtown quality as an area needing improvement, and the city aims to attract businesses to enhance downtown as a vibrant community hub and strengthen Pflugerville’s identity.
