Gronk: Bucs Don’t Have A Winning Culture
October 1st, 2026
Even retired Super Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski is expressing skepticism about the Bucs and head coach Todd Bowles, emphasizing that the team is struggling significantly.
In a recent interview with Rotowire.com—part of his promotion for eBay Live and a New York Comic Con appearance—Gronk addressed the ongoing issues within the Tampa Bay organization.
When questioned about the Bucs’ performance, which currently stands at 0-3, Gronk pointed out that the lack of accountability is a major issue.
Q: What are you seeing from the Bucs, given their struggles?
Gronkowski: They can still be competitive, but the culture just isn’t there in the organization right now. Everyone’s getting blamed—from the head coach to Baker Mayfield and the key playmakers. Nothing’s clicking. Someone needs to take charge and step up. They keep hurting themselves with penalties that negate big plays. Overall, it’s not a winning culture right now.
These comments paint a bleak picture for Bucs fans, highlighting the need for a turnaround in both leadership and team dynamics.
