21-Year-Old Fortnite Champion Donates Computers to Young Gamers and Aims for More via New Fund

Cody Conrod, known as Clix, is a prominent Fortnite player and Twitch streamer who aims to help aspiring gamers access the expensive world of professional gaming. After dropping out of school and finding success at a young age, he launched the Dr3amin Access Fund, which provides gaming equipment to those in need, particularly during his annual holiday giveaways.

Conrod’s journey began with financial struggles; he couldn’t afford high-end equipment when he started gaming as a child. His parents eventually supported his desire for a better computer, leading him to earn money quickly through Fortnite tournaments. His latest initiative reflects his commitment to reducing barriers for new gamers, particularly in light of rising hardware costs and ongoing stigmas around esports as a legitimate career.

His new holding company, Full Box Inc., will support funding for the Access Fund alongside profits from his clothing brand and partnerships with other brands. Conrod’s personal contributions and successful gambling ventures underscore his dedication to fostering new talent in the gaming community, championing efforts that provide opportunities for others, much like those that helped him succeed.
