SANY Nutrition Group Launches Snack Production Facility in Jonesboro

SANY Nutrition Group, a family-owned food manufacturer based in Jonesboro, has officially opened its recently retrofitted $30 million plant, formerly a Butterball facility. The company has launched its Beyond Resilience snack platform, starting with the Beyond Resilience Protein Crunch Bar, now available in Walmart stores across the U.S., along with plans for further retail expansion.

Angela Pernsteiner, the company’s founder, emphasized their goal of combining U.S. startup innovation with European manufacturing expertise to ensure high-quality products. The project was noted for its rapid execution, with local leaders, including Mayor Harold Copenhaver, praising the swift acquisition and retrofitting process.

The facility aims to create 150 jobs over the next three years. The first product, the Protein Crunch Bar, offers 15 grams of protein per serving, complemented by upcoming releases like Crunch Pops, and a variety of snacks in the Beyond Resilience line, which promises to produce 500 million snacks annually. Pernsteiner highlighted the potential for growth and innovation in this new venture.
