Hickory Auto Instructor Receives $75K National Prize – WSOC TV

Terry Drum, an automotive teacher at Hickory High School in North Carolina, has received a national award that includes $50,000 for the school’s automotive program. He was among 25 teachers honored with the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools award, which was established to promote skilled trades education in public high schools. During the award presentation, Drum expressed gratitude to his students, colleagues, and supporters, mentioning that their encouragement keeps him motivated.
