Mick Mitchell’s journey with vintage Jeeps reflects his lifelong passion for automobiles. After accumulating over 200 Jeeps, his collection now nears 400. From a young boy captivated by WWII newsreels featuring military GPWs and MBs, Mitchell’s fascination led him to acquire his first Jeep in eighth grade.
His career as an architect has helped him not only amass this impressive collection but also design a building to house them, protecting his Jeeps from the elements for potential future use.
Rather than solely a tribute to military history, Mitchell’s collection showcases the evolution of the Jeep and its versatility over the years. The variety in his collection includes early military models and cutaways illustrating the engineering.
While some may view his collection as over-the-top, Mitchell’s fanatical commitment to the Jeep brand for nearly 80 years is emblematic of true passion for the automotive world.
