Honoring Hispanic Heritage Month: A Spotlight on Entrepreneurship

CHAMBLEE, Ga. — As Hispanic Heritage Month begins, Channel 2 Action News is highlighting families who have transformed their businesses into economic engines.

Channel 2’s Jorge Estevez spent time with Rosi Ramos, the owner and founder of Laredo Western Wear. Rosi’s passion lies not just in selling boots but in sharing her culture.

“I’m happy because people say, ‘Oh, thank you for your help. I feel perfect,’” Ramos shared.

Located in Plaza Fiesta on Buford Highway, her family business is celebrating 30 years of blending Mexican culture with cowboy apparel. Beyond her store, Rosi actively contributes to the community, participating in various events throughout the year and serving on the board of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.

Her best advice for anyone looking to start a Western wear collection? Invest in a quality pair of boots that can last a lifetime.
