The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is making a comeback in the 2026 Ram 1500 for the Middle East, responding to strong customer demand. Ram aims to expand its V8 offerings in the region. Yousef Bouhaddioui, regional brand director for Stellantis Middle East, noted that despite rapid changes in the automotive industry, the passion for the HEMI V8 remains strong among customers, due to its performance and iconic sound.
The HEMI V8 engine produces 395 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque, featuring fuel-efficient technologies like variable camshaft timing and a multidisplacement system for cylinder deactivation. The Ram 1500 supports a towing capacity of up to 5,266 kg and a payload capacity of 748 kg, equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
This launch is just the beginning, with plans for additional models like the Ram 1500 TRX SRT and Ram Rumble Bee scheduled for 2027, enhancing Ram’s performance and off-road offerings in the Middle East.
