Walmart’s Bettergoods Pasta Pulled from Shelves Due to Potential Listeria Risk

Walmart shoppers are being advised to check their freezers for certain packages of Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine due to a recall over possible listeria contamination. This recall affects two lots distributed nationwide and includes 22-ounce frozen packages marked with lot numbers L6079C (expiration date Sept. 19, 2027) and L6080C (expiration date Sept. 20, 2027).

No illnesses have been reported, and the recall came after routine sampling by agricultural departments in Washington and Florida indicated potential contamination. Gias Foods, the supplier, has halted distribution and is cooperating with the FDA in the investigation.

Customers are urged to return affected products for a full refund. For inquiries, Gias Foods can be reached at sales@giasfoods.com or 917-675-4890, with a promise to respond within 24 hours. Listeria can pose serious health risks, especially for vulnerable populations.
