A 13-year-old boy was arrested in Oakland County, Michigan, after allegedly stealing multiple vehicles and breaking into businesses in Pontiac and Waterford Township. The investigation began following a break-in at a used car dealership where deputies found a damaged Dodge Charger and a stolen Dodge Dart.
The incidents were linked to earlier thefts at a landscaping company that reported a Chevrolet pickup truck and another Dodge stolen. Surveillance footage captured the boy breaking into the dealership, stealing car keys, and attempting to ram through gates with stolen vehicles.
Detectives identified the suspect using footage from the break-ins. This was not his first offense, as he had been arrested twice in 2025 for similar crimes. He was apprehended less than 24 hours after the investigation commenced and has been taken to the Oakland County Children’s Village for his actions.
