The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and the city of Coachella are enhancing services at the Coachella Community Business and Resource Center to better support local businesses and entrepreneurs. This expansion includes new training resources, workspace, and access to various business assistance programs.
Brandon Marley, the chamber’s president and CEO, emphasized the goal of creating a more comprehensive support system for the local business community. To fund this initiative, the Coachella City Council approved an annual $50,000 service agreement.
Once fully operational, the center will welcome visitors four days a week, offering amenities such as shared desk space, basic printing, conference rooms, and staff assistance. This aims to reduce the need for local businesses to seek resources outside the city.
The program will focus on pertinent business topics, including marketing, workforce development, access to capital, and government contracting. Mayor Frank Figueroa expressed excitement about the partnership and the benefits it will bring to entrepreneurs in Coachella.
Further details on workspace availability, workshops, and resources will be provided in the future.
