Indianapolis Animal Care Services Waives Adoption Fees This Weekend
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Animal Care Services will waive adoption fees for all dogs and cats this weekend during its “Home Is Calling” event.
Event Details:
- When: Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27, from noon to 7 p.m.
- Location: 5001 E. Raymond St.
IACS currently has 183 dogs and 56 cats available for adoption. IACS Director Amanda Dehoney-Hinkle noted that the event aims to connect pets with families while creating space for other animals in need.
“Home means something different to everyone, but for the animals in our care, it means having a family and a place to belong,” Dehoney-Hinkle said. “We hope people will visit us during Home Is Calling and discover the companion their home has been missing.”

- Regular Fees: Typically $60 per pet.
- Included Services: Each pet will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before going home.
