Mississippi Science Fest Brings Hands-On STEAM Activities to Jackson
JACKSON, Miss. — Families can explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics during the 11th annual Mississippi Science Fest on Saturday.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 19 at the LeFleur Museum District in Jackson, with additional satellite locations across Mississippi. Participating venues include:
- Mississippi Museum of Natural Science
- Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum
- Mississippi Children’s Museum
- Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum
Experts and special guests from science-based industries throughout Mississippi will provide hands-on activities designed for children and families. The main event will highlight STEAM-focused exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations from local exhibitors.
A single ticket grants access to all four participating museums, allowing families to explore a variety of exhibits and activities throughout the LeFleur Museum District. Join in on the fun and celebrate 11 years of STEAM-focused activities for families across the state!
