Paige Bueckers and Wings Conclude Era at College Park Center with Victory over Mercury

The Dallas Wings marked a significant milestone by playing their final regular-season home game at College Park Center on Saturday, defeating the Phoenix Mercury 87-82. This game was their 181st at the venue since relocating to North Texas for the 2016 WNBA season. As they transition to American Airlines Center for the 2027 season, tributes flooded in for Arlington and the home they’ve known for years.

The Wings have already clinched a playoff spot and are aiming to improve their seeding. They currently sit in eighth place but have two games left in the regular season. Standout performances came from Paige Bueckers, who scored 26 points, and Arike Ogunbowale, who added 22 points. The Wings have been on a roll, having won their last six games.

As they close this chapter and prepare for the upcoming playoffs, the Wings hope to continue their winning streak and carry momentum into their postseason journey.
