In Franklin Township, police were called to assist a woman, Aiyana Hudson, who discovered a python lodged in her car’s grill. Officers helped her by removing parts of the vehicle and using a hook to extract the snake. Hudson expressed her shock and concern, humorously stating she would run if the snake came free.
Despite some poking, the friendly ball python was unharmed and taken to the local animal shelter. Hudson felt bad about the treatment but was relieved it was safe. The township’s public safety director reminded pet owners to surrender exotic animals responsibly rather than releasing them into the wild. Hudson, who prefers cats and dogs, declined to adopt the snake, hoping it finds a loving home.
