As part of the Taza Qazaqstan environmental campaign, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participated in a tree planting event at the Presidential Park in Astana, joined by activists and volunteers.
He expressed gratitude for the collective effort, stating:
“Today we all planted trees together in this park and took part in a shared and worthwhile endeavor… I sincerely thank all of you for your continued support of state policy.”
The President highlighted the vital role of young people in environmental initiatives, deeming them true patriots because:
“Love for the Motherland… begins with one’s own home, one’s aul, and one’s city.”
He emphasized that caring for nature and the environment is central to national values, stating:
“This is a precept and legacy passed down to us by our ancestors… the national project Taza Qazaqstan… is of special social and historical significance. We must become a country with a high environmental culture.”
This message underscores a commitment to enhancing environmental consciousness as a civic duty, in line with the new Constitution.
