Aumovio has celebrated a successful first year as an independent company, marked by key wins in autonomous mobility, radar, and head-up display (HUD) technology. The firm recently announced a US$110 million expansion of its facility in New Braunfels, Texas, which will add 65,000 square feet of space, more than doubling its production area with an automated warehouse expected to be completed by mid-2027.
The company’s growth includes new contracts in high-performance computing, radars, and telematics control units, further establishing its position in the automotive technology sector. Aumovio’s HUD contracts have generated cumulative lifetime sales in the triple-digit millions, and its user experience (UX) innovations include under-display cameras and non-invasive blood alcohol detection technologies. These innovations will be featured at CES 2027.
Aumovio President Aruna Anand emphasized the transformative phase of the automotive industry, highlighting the impact of advancements in software, sensing, connectivity, and intelligent systems on mobility. The Texas facility expansion is also strategic for Aumovio’s ongoing partnership with Aurora.
