On Saturday morning, over 25 cars were broken into in hotel parking lots in the Brier Creek area of Raleigh. Police reported that two locations on Little Brier Creek Lane were targeted around 5 a.m., with at least one vehicle having property stolen.
The affected hotels include a Holiday Inn Express and a Courtyard by Marriott, where authorities identified at least 27 damaged cars.
Sophie Bozymski, a victim, shared with WRAL News that this was not her first experience with car break-ins this year, noting a similar incident just four months prior in the same complex.
The police are currently investigating the situation, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers or report anonymously at 919-996-1193. This incident follows a pattern of recent car break-ins at various hotels and apartment complexes in the area.
