Heavy Machinery Stolen from Paving Pros LLC in Horry County
Horry County, SC (WMBF) – Henry Small, co-founder of Paving Pros LLC, has reported a theft involving heavy machinery from his equipment yard. Sometime between Saturday night and Tuesday morning, thieves cut the lock and made off with a skid steer and a trailer.
Upon discovering the theft, Small expressed disbelief, stating, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ It really just didn’t seem real.” He has filed a police report but is uncertain if the stolen equipment, valued at nearly $100,000, will be recovered. The skid steer alone cost about $87,000, with the trailer valued at around $12,000.
The loss significantly impacts Small’s paving business. He noted, “Every piece of equipment that we have got its job to do… it kind of slows down production time.”
In an effort to locate the stolen items, Small is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to their return and urges the community to remain vigilant.
