Robert Grand Achieves Recognition for Contributions in Engineering and 3D Printing
SOUTH LYON, MI, September 09, 2026 — Robert Grand is celebrated for his accomplishments in engineering, particularly in the realms of aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, as well as his entrepreneurial success in the 3D printing sector.
Mr. Grand is the owner of R26 Industries, a Michigan-based company specializing in 3D printing, which he has operated since 2026. His role involves overseeing daily operations, implementing technical solutions for customers, and expanding the business to meet rising demand.
In addition, Mr. Grand works as a senior application engineer at NMB Technologies Corporation in Novi, Michigan, where he has been employed since 2024. His earlier experience as a product engineer at McLaren Engineering/Linamar and as a steering systems engineer at Changan US R&D Center Inc. laid the groundwork for his expertise in mechanical and automotive engineering.
His career milestones include serving as the chief project FAA overhaul engineer at Pratt & Whitney and leading significant aircraft maintenance engineering projects. The pinnacle of his early career was as the lead project engineer at Cirrus Design Corporation, where he was instrumental in the successful certification of a small aircraft.
Mr. Grand holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He has also engaged in community service through his involvement with his neighborhood’s homeowners association and has authored two novels under Reaper Two-Six Productions.
