Hong Kong’s First Astronaut to Deliver Live Lesson from Space

Lai Ka-ying, Hong Kong’s first astronaut, will conduct a live lesson for students and teachers at her alma mater on Wednesday morning. This special 90-minute session will be broadcast to campuses across the city and streamed live on television.
Participation
Lai and her fellow crew members of Shenzhou-23, namely Colonel Zhu Yangzhu and Zhang Zhiyuan, will engage in what is known as the “Tiangong Class” at Tsuen Wan Public Ho Chuen Yiu Memorial College. Representatives from youth sectors, innovation and technology communities, and a delegation from Macau will also be present, with the session reaching students in Macau as well.
Organizers
This event is jointly organized by the Hong Kong and Macau governments and the China Manned Space Agency. It will feature an expert lecture, in-orbit demonstrations, and a Q&A session aimed at showcasing the unique environment of space.
