Former Market Bar Revitalized with Plans for Apartments and Arts Venue

The former Market Bar on Gibson Street in Buffalo, NY, which has been vacant since a fire in 2017, is set for redevelopment into apartments and a community arts space. New owner Lindsey Taylor of AmeriRoss LLC aims to revitalize the building as a significant fixture in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. The project will have multiple apartments on the second and third floors and a social space on the first floor featuring art and programming. Expected completion is set for next year, coinciding with further revitalization efforts at the Broadway Market, which will also undergo construction this fall. Local market worker Elaine Pasternak expresses her support for the changes, believing they will enhance community activity in the area.
