Guest Speaker:

Constance B. Shaw

Quote:

“Science Saturday at Smith is all about giving young people the opportunity to experience science rather than simply read about it. Extracting DNA from a strawberry is a fun and memorable experiment, but it also opens the door to conversations about genetics, medicine, research, and careers that our participants may not have considered before.”
— LaTory Gibson, Museum Education and Engagement Coordinator
