Stoke Space has raised $1 billion in a Series E funding round aimed at supporting the first launch of its Nova rocket in early 2027 and the development of a subsequent launch vehicle. The round was co-led by Point72 Ventures and Spark Capital, with participation from various investors, bringing Stoke’s total capital raised to $2.3 billion.
The Nova Pathfinder rocket is designed to prove the architecture, operational capabilities, and full reuse of technologies, also carrying payloads to orbit. The upcoming Block 2 Nova, with a larger capacity of 15 metric tons to low Earth orbit, is expected to launch in 2029. CEO Andy Lapsa emphasized the importance of the Pathfinder mission for learning and risk reduction, aligning with customers’ needs for capacity and frequency of launches.
