Tacoma Welcomes New Coworking and Childcare Space for Mothers | Culture + Life

A new coworking space designed for moms has launched at Tacoma’s Old City Hall. Named SheWorks, it provides full-day childcare alongside coworking areas, catering specifically to working parents. The facility also offers shorter drop-in childcare for children aged 2.5 to 6.

Founder Ashley Whitney expressed the aim to create a space that addresses the challenges of balancing work and motherhood. In addition to coworking and childcare, SheWorks features meeting spaces, community programming, and a photography/event studio called The Frame.

While open now, SheWorks will host its grand opening on September 12 from 5-8 p.m.
