EXCLUSIVE: GM Management partners Ram Getz and Michael Mortensen have launched i80 Entertainment, a new independent production company focused on financeable, talent-driven projects.
Getz & Mortensen will continue to operate GM Management, the talent management company they founded six years ago. i80 arrives with a growing slate of films in post-production, including Sunny, an Angelina Jolie-led thriller directed by Eva Sørhaug; Crosshairs, starring Alec Baldwin and Jim Gaffigan; and Go Away!, a British comedy starring Hugh Bonneville.
The launch of i80 builds on Getz and Mortensen’s expanding producing footprint. Their previous credits include Bella Thorne’s feature directorial debut Color Your Hurt, and Paul Schrader’s Oh, Canada, featuring Richard Gere, Jacob Elordi, Uma Thurman, and Michael Imperioli. They also executive produced The Get Out, an action thriller starring Russell Crowe, Luke Evans, and Aaron Paul.
GM Management represents Kiowa Gordon, star of AMC’s Dark Winds, which is produced by George R.R. Martin and recently wrapped its fifth season. Their roster includes Shaina West (Jade, Killer’s Game), Elisabeth Harnois (CSI), Tiago Roberts (The Last Thing He Told Me), Brian Knoebel (1923), Belle Adams (Bless This Mess), Lee Chen (Good Trouble), and Josh Breslow (Bosch: Legacy).
