Longstanding Sponsor Engagement and New Main Stage Boost 63rd Northwood Auto Show

Northwood University International Auto Show Set for Sept. 18-20

An Expansive Experience for Students and Families

This year’s Northwood University International Auto Show, running from September 18-20, promises to enhance experiential learning for students and provide free entertainment and family-friendly activities for all attendees. With unprecedented sponsorship participation, the 63rd edition of this student-led event will feature a new main stage offering live entertainment and interviews, marking a significant expansion in programming.

Main Stage & Student Engagement

The newly introduced main stage will serve as a hub for live performances and discussions involving Northwood students, faculty, and automotive professionals. General Chair Chase Southwick emphasizes the importance of student leadership and the potential fostered by industry partnerships, stating, “This exceptional level of sponsor support and the addition of our new main stage will deliver a more engaging experience for guests while allowing students to develop vital career skills.”

Celebrating America’s Automotive Heritage

This year’s theme, “Northwood Drives America,” honors the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the automotive industry’s pivotal role in shaping American innovation and culture. Hundreds of students will manage nearly every aspect of the event, from sponsorships to guest experiences.

Support from Industry Partners

A notable rise in sponsorships allows students to expand programming and engage a wider array of exhibitors. Returning as the highest-level sponsor, Automotive Warranty Network’s Diamond sponsorship includes extensive involvement throughout Auto Show week, enriching student learning experiences. Other sponsors include Amazon Autos, Hennessey Performance, and numerous others focused on various show elements.

Southwick expressed gratitude for the partnerships, stating, “Sponsors enable students to build professional relationships and opportunities, giving us the resources to grow the show and prepare for careers in these industries.”
