Production of Buses in Finland
Valmet Automotive has begun manufacturing diesel and electric buses at its Uusikaupunki plant in Finland, with the first units expected by the end of the year. The production volume will gradually increase starting next year, as reported by YLE News.
Company Cooperation
In April, Valmet Automotive and Carrus Delta initiated a long-term collaboration for the serial production of buses at the Uusikaupunki facility. The production process has officially started.
Division of Work
Valmet Automotive is tasked with manufacturing bus bodies, painting, and final assembly, while Carrus Delta specializes in bus design and manufacturing, particularly for Volvo Buses.
