YTC America Inc. (YTCA), an R&D subsidiary of Yazaki Corp., has created a polypropylene (PP) composite using bamboo filler, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint by approximately 50% compared to traditional PP materials.

Applications:
Originally intended for automotive parts like relay boxes and protective covers, this bamboo-reinforced composite also shows promise for packaging, electrical enclosures, and material handling equipment.
