Three people were injured after a BMW crashed into the North Park Produce Store on Poway Road at around 4 p.m. on Saturday, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department. The vehicle collided with the store’s front window near the cash registers, injuring at least one store employee.
Emergency services evacuated the store, and an engineer has been called to assess the building’s structural integrity. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but the driver remained at the scene.
