When Marler was asked for advice for new contestants, he mentioned the date, saying, “What is it, September 23, the next series?” Osman then humorously acknowledged that the information was supposed to be under wraps, stating, “the cat’s out of the bag.”
So far, the BBC has not officially confirmed this date. In discussions, Marler also hinted that the new season might differ in emotional tone from his own experience, suggesting a more serious approach among new contestants who might feel pressure following the success of the first series.
