The UN General Assembly underscored the pressing need for women’s meaningful participation in these processes. The Holy See warned against the prevailing “culture of power” that normalizes war, advocating for a diplomatic approach rooted in respectful dialogue. Citing both a UN resolution and Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical, the Holy See called for concrete actions to ensure equality and recognize women’s contributions, stating that closing this gap is essential for women to become “artisans of peace.”
