Coker awarded $615K grant from the National Science Foundation

The grant will focus on studying student success and career outcomes for Coker University students, with specific goals for improving persistence in science and graduation rates. Data will be collected over time to track students into their careers, aiming to enhance the scientific workforce in South Carolina. Dr. Nadim Aziz, the South Carolina EPSCoR director, will lead the project under the auspices of SCRA. The initiative, known as SC-CAPS, unites 11 academic institutions, including Coker and several other universities across the state.
