The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has approved Peter Warren’s acquisition of Wakeling Automotive Group’s new car dealerships, with conditions to divest eight dealership sites. This decision was made to maintain competition in the supply of new cars, servicing, and repairs in Sydney’s Macarthur region.
Peter Warren and Wakeling Automotive operate multiple new car dealerships in Campbelltown, Narellan, and Smeaton Grange. The divested sites, located in Campbelltown and Smeaton Grange, include various brands such as Kia, GMSV, RAM, Isuzu UTE, GAC, Volkswagen, and Suzuki.
Wakeling Automotive operates 30 dealership sites across Greater Sydney, Wollongong, and the Southern Highlands.
