Dr. Blayne Carroll from Lee University will kick off the fall season of the “Sassy Science Series” with a talk titled “How to Think Like an Engineer.” This is the first of four science sessions scheduled for the fall, occurring on the second Tuesday of each month, featuring various Lee University professors discussing scientific topics.
Talk Details:
- Duration: 40-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q&A session.
- Focus: Explores engineers’ approaches to problem-solving and designing world-improving solutions.
About Dr. Carroll:
- Over 20 years of teaching experience at Lee University.
- Dean of the Wright School of Engineering and Computer Science.
- Doctorate in mathematics from Emory University, specializing in graph theory and combinatorics.
- Involved in developing new academic programs and establishing Lee’s engineering program.
