Xiaomi Auto has announced its plans to officially enter Germany and other European markets in 2027 during IFA Berlin 2026. The company signed memorandums of understanding with eight German automotive dealer groups, which is an important step towards establishing a retail and after-sales service network in Europe. Notable partners include Ernst Dello GmbH & Co. KG, Autohaus Dinnebier GmbH, and Emil Frey Germany, among others.
Yu Liguo, the vice president of Xiaomi Auto, emphasized the company’s commitment to long-term investment in Europe, highlighting its R&D center in Munich and the significance of local partnerships for their strategy. Since the launch of its first model in March 2024, Xiaomi has delivered over 700,000 vehicles in mainland China, with successful sales figures for the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 series.
In preparation for its expansion, Xiaomi Auto has launched a global website and official international social media channels and is showcasing its “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem at the IFA. The event is open to the public from September 4 to September 8, 2026.
