Woods Humane Society Opens 4th Annual Pets of the Year Calendar Contest
Woods Humane Society has kicked off its fourth annual Pets of the Year Calendar Contest, inviting local dog and cat owners to enter their pets for free from September 1 until midnight on September 20.
How to Participate
Participants can nominate their pets by creating a contest page, uploading a pet photo, and encouraging friends and family to vote by donating to their contest page.
Prizes
- Top 10 Fundraisers: Featured in the 2027 print calendar and receive four printed calendars.
- All Contestants: Anyone who raises at least $25 will receive a calendar, and their pet’s photo will appear on a collage page.
Community Impact
According to Woods CEO Emily L’Heureux, “This fun, community contest is also a unique way to help homeless pets at Woods. By donating to vote, supporters can make a real difference for dogs and cats in need.”
Calendar Release
The winners and the 2027 calendar will be unveiled at the Woods Humane Society Wiggle Waggle Fall Festival on October 24. Calendars will be available for sale at the festival.
