V20 Group is set to develop a 30-unit residential project on a 1.77-acre site in Westport, having recently acquired the former Connecticut Humane Society property. The development will feature 25 rental apartments and five townhomes, with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom residences. Plans include amenities such as underground parking, a landscaped courtyard, gym facilities, a common room, a golf simulator, and an outdoor grilling area.
The Westport Planning and Zoning Commission approved the project in June, allowing it to proceed under the town’s Inclusionary Housing Zone. Joseph Feinleib, the site’s previous owner and founder of Coastal Luxury Homes, had purchased the property for $3.5 million in July 2025, with intentions to develop high-end rental units.
Construction is slated to start immediately and is expected to last 16 to 18 months, with leasing inquiries anticipated to begin in early 2027. V20 Group’s portfolio includes various property types, and it has successfully completed projects like Heights Crossing in Darien, which features rental apartments and commercial space.
