Albany Engineered Composites Continues Partnership with Boeing for 787 Dreamliner

ROCHESTER, N.H.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sep 3, 2026– Albany Engineered Composites, a segment of Albany International Corp. (NYSE: AIN), has announced a contract extension with Boeing (NYSE: BA) to keep producing composite fuselage frames for the 787 Dreamliner.

Albany will manufacture around 300 unique composite fuselage frames, including sections 41, 43, and 47. The company has been producing components for Sections 41 and 43 since a previous award from Boeing in 2014.

Chris Stone, president of Albany Engineered Composites, expressed excitement about the continued collaboration: “We are fully committed to supporting the ramp of the 787 program with consistency, quality, and reliability. Our focus is on delivering high-performance components at scale.”

Production will take place at Albany’s facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.
