Li Auto has officially unveiled its latest model, the Li MEGA, positioning it as the flagship multipurpose vehicle (MPV) in its lineup. Priced at CN¥509,800 (around US$70,800), deliveries are set to begin the week of September 2, 2026. This strategic focus on an MPV highlights the increasing demand among family buyers in China’s electric vehicle (EV) market.
The Li MEGA joins a range that includes the brand’s extended-range electric SUVs and battery electric SUVs. Li Auto aims to cater to the premium family buyer segment, emphasizing in-house development of range extension systems and connected technologies.
Although detailed specifications regarding powertrain, driving range, charging capabilities, and dimensions are yet to be provided, the Li MEGA is notably positioned above the Li L series and Li i series vehicles in the company’s hierarchy, signifying its role as a critical player in the family-oriented EV market.
