Kentucky Man Dies Following Incident at Auto Manufacturing Facility: Here’s What We Know

A 33-year-old man named Bradley Clouse from Richmond, Kentucky, tragically died in a workplace incident on Wednesday at the Astemo Americas, Inc. plant in Madison County. The exact details surrounding the incident are still unclear and are currently being investigated by the state’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Rosalind Harvey, a deputy executive director of the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet, emphasized the commitment to ensuring safe working environments and noted that investigations can take up to six months to complete.

Astemo Americas, a division of Astemo Ltd., operates three locations in Kentucky, with the affected plant serving both manufacturing and sales functions. Just a day before the incident, the company announced a significant $112 million expansion project expected to create 114 new jobs and enhance production capabilities at its Berea facilities.
