A public park attraction in northern downtown Sioux Falls has received recognition from the International Downtown Association (IDA). DTSF, Inc. was awarded the Downtown Achievement Pinnacle Award for its work on Jacobson Plaza, which features an inclusive playground, the city’s first outdoor ice ribbon, and the largest splash pad in Sioux Falls. This development transformed a previously neglected brownfield into a vibrant community space.
