Randolph County to Receive Disaster Loan Assistance from Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for those impacted by severe weather in Randolph and Saline Counties last spring. Governor Kehoe requested this assistance following severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding from April 23-28.

Loan Details:

  • For Businesses and Nonprofits: Up to $2 million available for repairs or replacements of real estate, machinery, equipment, or inventory.
  • For Homeowners and Renters: Loans up to $100,000 for personal property damage and $500,000 for damage to primary residences.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loans: These loans support small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, and private non-profits that experienced financial losses, regardless of physical damage.

Application Deadlines:

  • Physical Damage Applications: Due by October 27.
  • Economic Injury Applications: Due by May 28.
