Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) Launches New Research Cluster
HONG KONG SAR – 1 September 2026 – In a significant move to bolster Hong Kong’s reputation as a global hub for innovation and technology (I&T), the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), in partnership with the Innovation and Technology Commission, launched the SEAM@InnoHK research cluster. This launch ceremony took place at Hong Kong Science Park and emphasizes emerging fields such as sustainable development, energy, advanced manufacturing, and materials.

SEAM@InnoHK comprises eight R&D centres, pooling expertise from over 30 global universities and institutions like the University of Cambridge and Tsinghua University. Notable collaborations include:
